What is that you ask? How did my intramural frisbee team do in the championships this year?
That’s how. We have been chasing this since we made it into the finals in the fall of 2004. We have had a team in ’04, ’07, ’08 and ’09, plus some spring teams in between fall semesters, but we have always come up short.
Even this year, in the final game, it looked as if we had failed again, as the other team had us beat 8-6, with the first team to 9 as winner (cap enforced). However, we went on to score 3 uncontested points, sealing the deal and bagging the much-sought-after title. It was nice that it could happen this year, since a few of the founding members of team are graduating.
I just thought I would share. Feel free to shower commendations.

Hooray! That’s no easy task. I watched many a times where Jeff’s teams got oh so close, but came up taking 2nd place. You have serious bragging rights now!
Awesome! I spent all my years at BYU trying and failing to win an intramural championship. The closest I got was in ultimate, but 2nd place is the first shmoozer… right?
Congratulations!
Annnnnnnd, it seems like Mindy and I commented at the EXACT same time (she’s upstairs and I’m downstairs… it’s fate!).
