So ms. Lohan’s home has been burglarized. Or so says her publicist. Police are, according to the report in the Trib, “investigating whether anything has actually been taken.”
Here is the best line:
A statement from the performer’s publicist, Leslie Sloane: “many of (Lohan’s) personal belongings were taken without remorse.” Do you suppose the remaining belongings were hauled away with loads of remorse? Or perhaps the burglars took everything they could in good conscience and left the rest to ease their troubled minds? Sounds like a failed attempt to drum up sympathy. Aren’t all burglars “without remorse”? Particularly those breaking into “performers” homes for valuables?
